Music - a universal language

Our music department has embraced a new idea for community outreach and evangelism - being visible in Athens at times other than holidays. It seems that everybody wants to help the less fortunate during the holidays, but they are largely forgotten much of the rest of the year. In an effort to change that a bit, our Handbell choir visited Arbor Terrace in November for an evening of fun, playing, and fellowship. Residents had a fun time trying their hand at ringing and love was plentiful.

Members of our adult choir once again participating with the Athens Symphony both for the annual Christmas concert at the Classic Center and for Spring Pops Concert, featuring music by the Beatles, Burt Bacharach, and more.
